General Scope of Responsibility:
Direct and coordinate all shift activities through supervision of production support staff to manufacture quality products in a safe and cost-effective manner.

Responsibilities:

HUMAN RELATIONS:
The Controls Engineer (CE) works closely with, and often serves as support to several different departments and personnel. As a result, and to achieve optimum effectiveness, the CE must maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with various departments/individuals and must be responsive to their needs.
The CE interacts with all levels of the organization, i.e., with operators through senior managers. To be effective, the CE must be sensitive to, and cooperatively blend the needs and goals of the various levels of the organization with the common denominator of ‘achieving organizational objectives’, i.e., effective launches, safety, quality, productivity, cost reduction, and positive employee/ employer relations.

General Scope of Responsibility: Manages the engineering planning & preparation activities necessary to launch assigned new jobs and engineering changes at rate and 100% quality. Also, has lead engineering responsibility for providing support to production needs such as resolving process problems and improving safety, quality, and productivity on assigned programs/processes.
DUTIES & ELEMENTS:
- Responsible for the programming and optimization of adhesive, water jet, pick and place robots as assigned.
- Assists with the set-up or running of plant service parts as required.
- Performs tool modification or maintenance as required.
- Assists with process development effort to develop optimal cell layout, work instructions, process flow layout, set-up procedures, while adhering to safety, quality, and productivity protocols.
- Coordinates internal engineering trials for PPAP’s, PSA’s, Run at Rates, etc..
- Assists with launches through development and engineering of new or changed products.
- Accomplishes the above tasks through compliance with the plant’s Advanced Planning Quality Procedures (APQP).

The Process Engineering Technician (PET) works closely with, and often serves as support to a number of different departments and personnel. As a result, and in order to achieve optimum effectiveness, the PET must maintain a positive, cooperative relationship with various departments/individuals and must be responsive to their needs.
The PET interacts with all levels of the organization, i.e., with operators through senior managers. Physical requirements:
Occasionally ascends/descends ladders or stairs on manufacturing equipment to assist with trial runs. Must be able to lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds across plant floor when assisting in tool launch process. Must be able to walk through the manufacturing plant and stand for long periods of time. Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces.
General Scope of Responsibility:
Assist the Production Control Supervisor and Materials Manager and to schedule machines, assist shipping with deliveries, help in keeping accurate inventories, and supporting the customers through support and service.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Assist the Production Control Supervisor with the control of inventories: Perform inventory adjustments throughout the month as needed, Perform cycle counts as needed as well as an annual cycle count.
- Support the customer by being one of the main contacts for the resolution of customer related issues (releases, breakpoints, etc.).
- Responds to Ford’s Quarterly Purchase Parts Capacity reviews.
- Reviews customer releases weekly in PRP (Productions Requirements Planning) and verifies all RCP orders are accurate and resolves as necessary. Enters jobs into ERP.
- Reviews raw materials requirements to meet production needs in MRP Materials Requirement Planning via EDI & Manually faxed releases. Checks intercompany plant order requirements and confirms prototype orders.
- Issues Raw Material Releases to Suppliers.
- Schedules Productions Machines:
- Set breakpoints with Supervisor when new engineering change level occurs.
- Keep machine matrixes updated.
- Maintain and monitor returnable container inventories and takes action as needed.
- Completes Customer’s Required Capacity Studies.
- Performs daily review & update the reinspection needs.
- Answers the monthly 4M (Man Machine Material Method) Survey for Nissan.
- Answers Chrysler volume variance requests.
- Maintains and updates plant contact information for customers within their portals.
- Supports the functions of Shipping and Receiving, as needed.
- Participate in mandatory staff meetings, training and other meetings, as required.

Work Environment
This position operates in a professional office environment, but requires some work to be done within the manufacturing plant. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This is a typical industrial environment utilizing moderately heavy equipment. The work environment at times can be dirty, hot, cold, dusty, noisy, but is generally thought to be good. Workers may be exposed to hazards typically found within a manufacturing environment. We take great pride in our safe environment. This plant operates with strict safety rules and all staff must maintain a high degree of care necessary to avoid serious injury.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position will primarily work during normal office hours Monday – Friday. Overtime will be required.

Lead in the overall gathering of financial data for the preparation and reporting to the annual plan. To support the accounting departments as needed in the areas of financial analysis and review. Perform Plant accounting duties as assigned.
DUTIES & ELEMENTS:
- Develop and assist the CFO in leading the annual budget process. This includes detailed schedules of sales and costs, as well as analysis and schedules to support the annual Profit Plan and its presentation to management and the Board of Directors
- Responsible for month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of financial statements and other operational reports for assigned plants and corporate.
- Preparation of monthly forecasts of income statement, balance sheets, and statement of cashflows for the company and analyze variances
- Identify, investigate and report any area of potential cost reduction or deviation from standard operating procedures or Corporate policy.
- Maintain the standard cost system within PLEX for assigned plants
- Ensure approved project costs are tracked and maintained within PLEX
- Assist CFO and Plant Manager with all financial information or analysis required, assists plant personnel with accounting inquiries and maintains effective communications at all levels.
- Monitor and implement plant internal controls (in conjunction with Corporate policies and best practices) as necessary to ensure reporting integrity and safeguard company assets.
- Preparation of cost estimates to support quoting activities.
- Manage and lead potential direct reports within the corporate accounting team.

Perform machine maintenance repair. Assignments will include but are not limited to performing preventative maintenance, machine repair, machine design improvements, buidling and grounds maintenance, and industrial machine trouble shooting.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Work Experience, Etc.):
Minimum [Must have to be considered for the position]:
- High School Diploma;
- Knowledge of basic electricity;
- DC and AC Drive Installation and Troubleshooting experience;
- Mechanical and electrical blue print reading and writing experience;
- Ability to utilize OEM documentation to repair equipment (prints and instructions);
- Knowledge of electrical controls;
- Ability to do industrial electrical troubleshooting;
- Knowledge of Plant work/safety rules;
- Knowledge of electrical safety and the industrial electrical code;
- Ability to provide mechanical and electrical support;
- Ability to fill out machine work requests completely and accurately;
- Ability to research, select and make recommodations for mechanical and electrical component repairs;
- Basic machining skills;
- Knowledge of tooling (dies and molds);
- Understanding of hydraulic systems.
Desired [Will provide job holder with added skill(s) to perform duties]:
- 5 years experience in electrical and mechanical repair; (up to 4 years of experience can be substituted by school)
- Advanced machining skills and ability to work from drawings and prints;

- Ability to communicate effectively;
- Good interpersonal skills;
- Ability to instruct and convey ideas clearly;
- Excellent Attendance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times;
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facilities;
- Must be able to access all parts of the company equipment;
- Occasionally ascends/descends on ladders;
- Environmental conditions include noisy environments with occasional varying temperature.
